Fumbisi Licence Renewal

Posted in 2014

Goldcrest Resources plc is pleased to announce the renewal of the Fumbisi reconnaissance licence.  The Ministry of Land and Natural Resources approved the renewal on 2 May 2014 for a one year period. The licence boundaries have been adjusted to comply with the recent updates to the cadastral system in Ghana and therefore the total area has increased from 495.55km² to 536.55km².

The Fumbisi reconnaissance licence is situated on the Bole-Nangodi belt immediately to the south west of the Company’s Zamsa project and has attracted significant artisanal mining. Despite these activities, and the existence of a designated small-scale mining area at the centre of the licence, little exploration has been conducted across the project.

Frederick Bell, Managing Director of Goldcrest commented, “We are very pleased that, following the recent grant of the Zamsa prospecting licence, the Fumbisi reconnaissance licence has been renewed, which enables the Company to proceed with planning for an exploration program on the licence area.”

The Directors of the Issuer accept responsibility for this announcement.
